During 2014/15 Z* designed and developed an integrated mine planning system for De Beers Marine that was required to produce long and short term plans as well as day to day operational mine plans. The IMPS employs leading edge technology which includes the application of linear programming techniques and the use of Artificial Intelligence methods to optimise the short term mine plans.
